Rachel Symone Gilliam

Podcast Host, Creator of Daily Rae, and Unapologetic Reset

Rachel Symone Gilliam runs an online platform centered around owning her grief and encouraging others to live their best life on purpose. She is a bone marrow transplant survivor and became a widow at the young age of 25 after losing her husband to spinal cancer. Because of the storms she’s walked through, she is no stranger to heartache, loss, or the process of returning to yourself after trauma.

Though grief has become her lifelong companion, she also has made space for joy again and she invites her readers to follow along and believe that you can live a life that holds space for both pain and happiness.

Rachel is the host of the Rosè with Rae podcast — a podcast for around the table & real-life conversations, founder of Unapologetic Womxnhood — a community-led by Black women and created for all women to show up as your whole self unapologetically, and creator of Daily Rae — daily text encouragement to guide you on your journey to self.

She lives life in Dallas, TX, never says no to a glass of rosè, and is a fierce protector of her joy, rest, and emotional well-being.
